Who We Are...
I have been involved in the wonderful world of Aussies since 1998 when I moved to Idaho from California. I brought my border collie Jessie with me and decided she needed a playmate. I met my neighbors blue merle bitch Daisy who was expecting puppies just before Christmas. Pam co-owned Daisy with Kat Dellamater from Moorea Aussies and when I picked out a red tri male that Kat felt was the pick puppy she invited me to co-own him with her. About 10 weeks later she and I were off to our first show together in Utah and the rest is history. She became one of my best friends and a wonderful mentor.
My red tri Jake grew up and moved on to a fantastic home with 2 boys to take care of and Kat and I continued on with Cricket, who was the 2004 ASCA Nationals Best of Breed Winner, champions Ruckus and Patti and my new little dynamo Genie. Cricket is the dam of all three. There have been others, who, though living with new families are never far from our hearts.
I don't think I have ever not had a dog, my first was a daschund when I was 9 and I showed her at the Cow Palace in San Francisco. For several years before I left California I raised and trained Dobermans then adopted two rescue greyhounds, one of which came complete with seizures. Stretch went to the Rainbow Bridge shortly before his fourth birthday.
In 2006 Kat decided to retire from the dog world to concentrate on her family. I am still having fun with it so Camady Aussies was born and I will be having my first Camady litter* in Mid May with Patti and Gavin.
*See upcoming litters page for additional information.
