This puppy is guaranteed to be in good health at the time of purchase, and is guaranteed against infectious diseases for a two (2) week incubation period.

It is understood that at the time of sale this dog is not considered to be of breeding quality, but is representative of its breed and is structurally and temperamentally suited as a companion and/or performance dog. To make your pet a better and healthier companion, this dog is to be spayed/neutered at purchaser’s expense. No registration papers will be released for this animal until proof of sterilization is received.

Hips:

This sire and dam of this puppy have had their hips certified and are free of any abnormalities. If this puppy is found to have hereditary hip dysplasia, by proof of an OFA report, within three (3) years from the date of birth, but is still suitable as a pet, one half (½) of the purchase price will be refunded. If the dysplasia is to the extent that it renders the dog unsuitable as a pet, the full purchase price will be refunded upon proof of euthanasia.

To determine hip dysplasia, the seller requires that the dog be x-rayed by a qualified and licensed vet and that the x-rays be sent to the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) for evaluation. It is also the seller’s right to have the x-rays sent to their vet for evaluation. The buyer will be responsible for all expenses incurred.

Idiopathic Epilepsy:

IE is a genetic abnormality that usually manifests itself before the dogs 3rd birthday. The sire and dam of this puppy have not had any instances of IE to date nor have they produced offspring with such. If at any time this puppy is diagnosed with IE the full purchase price will be refunded.

To determine IE there must be blood work performed by a licensed vet and all necessary tests completed with a firm diagnosis of Idiopathic Epilepsy.

Eyes:

The sire and dam of this puppy have had yearly eye exams and are free of any abnormalities. If a hereditary eye defect should develop within three (3) years from date of birth, but the dog is still suitable as a pet, one half (½) of the purchase price will be refunded. If the eye defect renders the dog unsuitable as a pet, the full purchase price will be refunded upon proof of euthanasia. To determine any eye defects, seller requires a signed statement from a licensed vet specializing in ophthalmology (Board Certified) describing the dog’s condition. The buyer will be responsible for all expenses incurred.

Titles:

We encourage you to work with your dog! We suggest starting right away with Puppy Kindergarten classes. We also offer a lifetime bonus of $25.00 for each title earned by this dog. This includes obedience, agility, tracking and working titles.

All of the above guarantees become null and void when this dog has been used for breeding purposes or allowed to reproduce. This warranty is non-transferable and void if dog is sold.
